All that emotion!

I was there that fatefull day at Zolder 1982,

Happily taking pictures in the pits of Villeneuve and Pironi.

Gilles went out for one last lap and never came back....

just his wrecked Ferrari on the back of a truck... 

the evening was so eerie and quiet. 

Racing fans just wandering around in disbelief, like zombies...
